Mark One’s New Leadership. Cesena-based company introduces new advisory board members.
Since its founding in 2016, Mark One has matured a lot, facing challenges and achieving different goals. Therefore, we are pleased to announce that the company’s Advisory Board expands and welcomes three key figures in the growth of the business: Alberto Elli, Mattia Ruggeri, and Laura Amadesi.
ALBERTO ELLI
Senior Advisor
Alberto is a business executive with more than 30 years of experience. He has held CEO, COO and CFO positions in both large publicly traded companies (SGP-Merck and Sherwin-Williams) and mid-sized companies, such as ValMed, Pever, Geneva Watch Group, D+M Group, Aquaro Histology and QubicaAMF.
After completing a degree in Business Economics at the University of Bologna in Milan in 1985, Alberto began building his career in the financial management of an Italian subsidiary of a Swedish multinational paper and packaging company. In 2000, he moved to the United States as vice president (VP) of Healthcare Finance for SGP, and in 2007 he was appointed VP of Finance and Global Finishes for Sherwin-Williams. He headed a $3 billion group and managed a team that acquired more than 20 companies. From 2013 onward, Alberto moved toward managing private companies. He became CEO of Aquaro, a medical device startup that raised $10 million, and COO and president of QAMF, a leading international bowling equipment supplier. For the past two years he has been the Senior Director of Finance and Mergers and Acquisitions at TadaNow, an innovative platform that connects data and optimizes complex supply chains.
Alberto has excellent knowledge of all financial fields, with particular experience in acquisitions and mergers. He has been in contact with international business for more than 20 years, traveling intensively around the world. Alberto demonstrated his ability to build many diverse and well-performing teams. From a managerial perspective, Alberto has kept the companies he has worked in customer-oriented, but without sacrificing back office and cost efficiency, and generating significant cash flows.
“Helping companies scale their business is my passion. Soon after meeting Marco, I became passionate about his vision to change the manufacturing world with an innovative approach. We are at a time in history when supply chains are not only crucial to business, but can revolutionize business practices such as the rapid evolution of manufacturing from 4.0 to 5.0. The opportunity to build a high-growth business, internationalize an Italian company and create a motivated, energetic and diverse team is truly incredible and exciting.”
MATTIA RUGGERI
Board Member
Mattia is an experienced international credit manager. Sales-oriented, able to think outside the box, he has always been able to find strategic ways to solve problems.
More than 16 years of experience in multinational companies such as Cubica AMF with offices in different locations have given him an inclusive attitude in dealing with different problems and cultures. Multiple trips, the year lived in the USA, and the experience in Dolce & Gabbana as Trade Marketer complete the profile of a very qualified and professional education, which began with a degree in Law and Economics at Bocconi University.
“I fell in love with Mark One from the first moment I met Marco and his team-it was a ‘click’. Since that moment I have been helping him turn his dream into reality!”
